Sissy Martinez

“Helping people move forward in life—in this case, finding them the perfect house—gives me my greatest career satisfaction.”

Born in Quebec, Canada, Sissy Martinez was raised in San Juan Puerto Rico, a move that makes her comfortably and conveniently bilingual. She studied at the Universidad del Sagrado Corazon majoring in Education. However, after marrying husband Miguel, she worked 19 years in her family’s restaurant business. Then, in 2005, Sissy attained her Puerto Rico real estate license. In 2011, Sissy and Miguel relocated to the Tampa Area, coming to work for Eaton Realty.

Sissy has readily taken to her role at Eaton, and says, “I like the entire staff. We are like family to each other. Our broker (Craig Eaton) is a very experienced man in the real estate business, and being part of his staff is an honor.”

Currently seeking her GRI designation (Graduate, REALTOR® Institute), Sissy’s forte is negotiating on behalf of her clients to help them acquire their ideal homes. She admits to getting just as excited as her buyers when she finds the perfect home for them.

Sissy’s Advice to Area Newcomers

“The area is growing very fast, and the traffic on your work commute should be a consideration when buying a house. But I like the community where I live … the parks … and being close to the beach.”
