A Brief History of Eaton Realty

While working toward a degree in Business and Finance at Kent State University in 1970, Craig Eaton started began his real estate career as a branch manager and collections officer servicing home loans at Midland Buckeye Federal Savings and Loan in Alliance, Ohio. Then in 1973, he bought his first investment home for $22,500. One year later Craig founded the Eaton Construction Company, building single and multi-family homes in a master-planned community.

The experience Craig has gained—and now shared with his son Shawn, son-in-law Daniel and other members of the Eaton Realty family—is constantly being put to use on behalf of clients. As Craig explains, “I am well positioned to guide people – I’ve lived through three major market cycles – from the super high interest rates of the 80s, to the construction crunch, to the housing crunch.”
